Do you dream of waking up to a beautiful, sunny morning and smelling pine trees? Would you like to live in a place where the people are friendly, a sense of community thrives and there’s no noise or traffic? Shingletown may be just the place for you!

Located only 18 miles outside the entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park, Shingletown is a small community of really great people. The area is scenic, the center of town being at approximately 3500 feet in elevation in a pine forest. Homes are scattered throughout the area and in the center of town are a medical center, library, grocery stores, gas stations, pizza parlor, veterinarian, video store, post office, beauty salon, small engine repair, local newspaper and several gift shops. All the amenities you need are here, and a comfortable drive down the hill is major shopping in the town of Redding.
